The concern

Distance and language: nobody is looking at my apartment professionally.

What we did

Multilingual, independent representation from finishes selection through to handover of keys.

What was the goal?

Moving in with no open risks and the reassurance of being properly represented.

What was the initial situation?

The family lived abroad and was due to take over an apartment on Lake Zurich without being able to attend every finishes selection and construction stage in person. Swiss construction jargon is difficult terrain even for native speakers, and buyer variations are quickly forgotten if nobody follows them up and documents them consistently.

Without your team we would have signed away problems we did not even know existed.

Building owner, Lake Zurich region

What have we accomplished?

I sat down with the family, listened, and translated their wishes into properly specified buyer variations. With the vendor and the site management I negotiated, tracked and documented the implementation. At the pre-handover inspection I went through room by room, recorded every open item, and agreed with the construction team what still had to be completed before the final handover. All communication ran in both German and English.

What was the result?

The family moved in knowing that someone who understands the Swiss construction process had been looking out for them. No surprises on moving in, and no open questions that could have turned into problems later.
